About Us
Raised in New England, Jeni Vessell found her home in Southern California where she met her husband and was blessed with an adorable son and a beautiful daughter. She's also the mom to 2 dogs and a cat.
Finding her direction in life early, she has been in the animal field for almost 20 years. Graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Animal Science, she decided to further her education in what would turn out to be her greatest passion.
"They say 'if you can turn you passion into a career, you will never work a day in your life'- So I figure that I haven't really worked in 15 years. "
Jeni has gained experience in many different settings including a boarding kennel, an animal hospital, and a grooming shop. She has also expanded her knowledge in the medical side of the field while working for an animal urgent care.
Her specialties include terrier breeds and undercoat removals (for those dogs who shed A LOT)
Raised in Southern California, Salah Fletcher is a loving wife and mother to a handsome son, and 3 energenic dogs.
Starting her career in the field at an Animal Hospital in 1999, Salah moved on to gain education as a pet stylist. After managing a grooming facility for 6 years, she decided to expand her knowledge by returning to an animal hospital where she worked several positions and finally decided that her true calling was back with grooming. She finally opened her own business, and eventually partnered with Jeni to create an unmatched duo.
She has polished her skills in the show ring at several grooming competitons. And won an award for difficulty.
She specializes in hand scissoring of all breeds. And finds her best work with drop coated breeds (yorkies, maltese, etc) and poodles.

Having worked at Puppy Pals in Lake forest until they closed their doors in retirement in December 2011, Mary has gained a loyal following. Balancing work and family keeps her busy, but she always has time to love on the dogs! She is proficient and all breed cuts and pet styles.
